Wipf Group Crystallization Information

In order to facilitate the preparation of x-ray quality crystals, we have purchased 24-well plates with microbridges that allow you to apply the sitting drop crystallization technique with a minimum amount of material in an easy-to-use combinatorial setup. I have two types of 24-well plates available as well as the appropriate sealing tape: The clear polystyrene plate can only be used with EtOH, i-PrOH, 3-methyl-1,5-pentadiol, and water. The foggy polypropylene plate can be used with all organic solvents.
