UPCMLD Libraries - Sample Request Procedure
The libraries prepared in the University of Pittsburgh CMLD represent novel scaffolds that originate from innovative methodologies developed in the research groups of Profs. Brummond, Curran, Nelson & Wipf. They can be provided at no cost to academic and industrial researchers in 0.1 – 0.5 mg/well quantities in 96-well plate format as a solid/film. The general scaffolds of our library are posted on our web site at Scaffolds.html. Specific compounds can be selected based on mutual agreement. In general, we are interested in results from novel screens that have the potential for further collaborative interactions. Library sample requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The following information should be submitted to the Scientific Advisor of the UPCMLD, Dr. Donna Huryn (Huryn@pitt.edu).
Among other factors, the availability of follow-up assays is an important criterion for consideration of the request. If the UPCMLD agrees to submit library samples for a collaborative assay, a University of Pittsburgh Material Transfer Agreement needs to be signed by both parties before the shipment can take place.
